Totally Busy
W and I are planning our wedding over in AMV and yesterday I returned from a New Years’ trip in RL to visit my daughter and her husband and my grandkids. Had a wonderful time and (of course) ate too much. So now I play catch up on all things virtual. Today I worked on the Wedding invitations some and have a few more things to do.
At the moment we are dancing at Muddy’s after dancing this morning in AMV. We spent a little time at the beach place this afternoon and I put one of the rain pools in. I had stopped in Trompe, but discovered the sale house today is the same one I have already. So I bought the furniture and one of the rain pools.
Over in Neverworld, we were trying to bring stuff in that we shopped for in our AMV avatars. Unfortunately it didn’t work. Apparently each grid makes it hard to exchange stuff from avs from other grids, even if they are friends and even in a group. Plus if you make friends from another grid, they do not show up unless you are in *their* grid. You can *all* go to the shopping areas, but you can’t exchange anything with other avatars that all shop there as well. It’s weird. Especially since everything is free anyhow. I hope this is something that gets fixed in the future. It’s not really “open” unless you can cross grids.
The other problem is we both have avatars in Neverworld that aren’t the same as our avatars in Alternate Metaverse. Different names and (in my case) slightly different avatars. W’s avatar over there is very different. It’s a lovely house we chose and we are still furnishing and gardening. I do have a she-shed there too. We have some tree houses we want to put up in the forest as well.
We love dancing so much!
