Christmas Morning

Talking to W this morning, it occurred to me I hadn’t posted in either blog for a while. Since I didn’t know what to do, I decided to write an update in both rl and 2L/grid blogs.

We are partnered in SecondLife, and AMV and eventually will be in Neverworld as time permits. Time has been going really super-fast for both of us. We wake in the mornings, do real life video contact, go to discord and talk and watch movies a lot. We also continue to dance at Fogbound and at the AMV places, and work on outfits a bit. I got a garden started at AMV but work on that needs to continue. We have each others rings in two worlds and the wedding is fairly planned as to where and dates and attendees. Now I need to get to making announcements.

In second life I got all the alts moved into an apartment building that belongs to Saffron. W and I also get the top floor but have not done anything with that yet. I am keeping Saffron’s account for the Lindens and the apartments land but basically the alts are all retired to basic accounts I don’t open now. Except for when we are out dancing or exploring or working on outfits, I am barely there myself now.

In AMV I have four parcels and W has one and they are now attached together with a lovely bridge to cross between (mostly for looks). I’ve started a garden on the one attached to his and somewhere on that I will do the steampunk zoo animals. There’s a couple of nice benches for sitting and a gazebo and hedges around the planting area.

I have not done further work on the castle and though I wanted a “seasonal” area and a store, I haven’t really gotten started on that yet. We’ve been much too busy having fun and watching movies to get much done in any world, including real life. haha

That was us dancing at Muddy’s the other evening. I love the ground set they have and the backgrounds. We had a good time, though I did not see a lot of people I know. It seems like so many in SecondLife have changed their names recently and so between that and the little time I spend there, it seems like the land of Strangers now.

I showed W DaVinci gardens the other day and some of the places I have in my inventory (no place to put as yet). He was impressed, even if we did have some trouble with the boat. I plan on showing him RoseHaven next time we go explore. We did ride on the battle dragon, and it reminds me that I need to take mine out (probably in a sandbox) sometime for some exercise. My horse has not been out at all since I abandoned the two islands either.

So things are going well with us inworld(s) and we continue to enjoy each other’s company with the added bonus of the real world as much as possible.
