The Wedding and beyond

Let’s see… Last time I posted, Warrio and I were still planning the AMV wedding with the help of friends. (Really appreciated their help and input.) It went through beautifully without a hitch, and I have some lovely photos I put on flickr. Friends were in attendance.

Since then, it’s been super busy. First because we were going out dancing a lot and now, because I bought a larger set of regions in AMV and have been working on a large garden.

Then I fell ill in RL – Viral Influenza B. I couldn’t do much at all for a while and had to go to the hospital for a er visit. Now I’m on medications and starting to recover some. Warrio had hip surgery and I am trying to help coaching him through his post-surgery exercises. He has home help a couple times daily, so he’s not completely on his own. And we keep in touch by video.

Now that I am up and around a bit again, he helps me by hanging out in the garden at AMV, watching and making occasional suggestions, and we play “snog” by pushing each other around a bit, making us both laugh. We talk things over a lot, just as we did before we started the relationship and we had already decided by agreement to keep to certain rules between ourselves.

We have a two story building that will be a store and a restaurant next to the garden and various other buildings on the beach side; one is a dance hall.

We haven’t been to SecondLife a lot lately because we started playing some online games; Cribbage and Words with Friends. But it’s not every evening. Many times we just talk and share music. Sometimes we watch a movie. We watched “Cross Creek” and he loved it. It was a large influence earlier in my life, though I was never quite like Marjorie.

I hope to open the garden at AMV to the public on Easter, but we’ll see how much I can get done. Lots of flowers and a really nice lookout tower.
